This mixed use development consists of a 6 storey office extension, a single storey extension to an existing An Post DSU , the provision of penthouse apartments, upgrade to elevational treatment and general refurbishment and fitting out of a 1970 ’s Office building.

The design response provides an elongated frontage and an improved appearance for the building from its primary aspect on to Shelbourne Road by recladding the original precast concrete spandrel panel façade with a brick skin, reconstituted stone and high performance aluminium windows.

MCORM successfully addressed the planning issues associated with extending an existing non- conforming use in a sensitive area ,ensuring an appropriate development of height ,scale and bulk that avoids overlooking and loss of amenity to adjoining properties.
