David Ledwith is a Senior Architect with 10 years post graduate experience and joined McCrossan O’Rourke Manning Architects in 2013. He qualified with a first class honours degree from UCD in 2009 and has since developed extensive experience working in the Irish construction industry specialising in the areas of Residential Design and Construction. He also has a Masters in Sustainable Building Design and Energy Analysis and he carries out the role of Assigned Certifier on a significant number of projects.
Since joining MCORM in 2013 he has worked on numerous residential schemes for various clients from preliminary design / feasibility stage through planning and up to completion including projects in all four Dublin local Authorities, Meath and Kildare. He has acted as project architect on schemes including 397 units in Ashbourne Co. Meath, 247 apartments and creche at Balgriffin, Dublin 13, a mixed residential scheme totalling 812 units at Shackleton Park, Lucan, Co. Dublin, part of the Adamstown strategic development zone and 276 units at Drumnigh Manor, Portmarnock, Co. Dublin.
David has also extensive experience in developing SHD planning applications on behalf of our clients. He is currently involved as project architect on SHD planning applications for schemes of 500 units in Ballyboden, Dublin 16 and 250 units in Palmerstown, Dublin 20. He is currently performing the role of Assigned Certifier on a number of projects and has successfully delivered building control compliance for over 1000 units to date across a variety of local authorities. In collaboration with other members of the team he has developed a system for the Practice for monitoring and inspecting building regulation compliance on site.
